The Ezekiel Elliott holdout promises to be an ugly one.  On the same day that news came out that Zeke was headed to Cabo, an interview with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also came out.

In the interview Jones addressed the current situation with his star running back.  After a glowing assessment of quarterback Dak Prescott, Jones essentially said the Cowboys don’t need Zeke.

Jones said teams don’t need a rushing champion to win a Super Bowl and the Cowboys are trying to win the Super Bowl.  It certainly sounds like Jones is prepared to play out the season without Elliott.
