The University of Arkansas football team will have a new starting quarterback Saturday against Western Kentucky in redshirt freshman John Stephen Jones.

If the name sounds somewhat familiar in Fayetteville, it’s because Jones is the grandson of Dallas Cowboys owner and former Razorbacks player Jerry Jones.

Arkansas coach Chad Morris announced the change on Monday, two days after his team’s 54-24 loss to Mississippi State.

Appearing off the bench, Jones completed four of his nine passes for 25 yards and a touchdown as the Razorbacks fell to 2-7 overall, 0-6 in the SEC.

Jerry has responded.
