While speaking to reporters on Thursday, the 49ers quarterback revealed that after he tore his ACL in Week 3 of the regular season last year against the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes paid him a visit after the game.

The gesture stuck with Jimmy G and he called the quarterback he has to defeat to win a Super Bowl a “real class act.”
