The NFL is preparing to start the season on time and is planning to play a full schedule.  In order to do that games could be played in empty stadiums.

Without a crowd the broadcasting of the games could get a little tricky.  According to FOX play-by-play announcer Joe Buck, his network is working on ways to make the broadcasts a little more normal.

Buck told Andy Cohen that FOX is planning on pumping fan noise into the broadcast and putting virtual fans in the seats to make the stadium seem full.
