Joe Flacco was released by the Broncos this offseason after he suffered a neck injury during the season last year.  Rookie Drew Lock took over and played well, taking the starting job in the process.

The 35-year-old former Super Bowl MVP wasn’t ready to hang it up just yet.  He signed a one-year deal with the Jets to serve as the team’s backup.

Flacco admitted on Tuesday that he won’t be ready for the season opener.
