Tom Brady’s decision to leave New England reminds many of other greats in sports finishing their careers with different franchises. Like Michael Jordan on the Washington Wizards or Joe Montana on the Kansas City Chiefs to name a couple.
In the case of Montana, he was traded at the end of his career from the 49ers to the Chiefs after winning four Super Bowls in San Francisco. Brady’s situation is a little different, he wasn’t traded, he decided to walk away.
Many believe that allowing Brady to walk away was a mistake. Montana is one of those guys. He was asked about Brady’s move to Tampa Bay and admitted he doesn’t understand how the Patriots let it happen.
