Joe Theismann Gives His Hot Take On Kyler Murray As An NFL QB

Former NFL Quarterback JoeTheismann spoke to TMZ Sports about the NFL prospect, saying that he should have picked baseball instead of football.

Murray had a contract with the Oakland A’s before declaring for the NFL Draft, but opted for football instead. 

“From my perspective, I think he’s going to be challenged in the NFL,” Theismann said. “I think he should’ve taken baseball. That would have been my suggestion to him. It’s the mechanics of playing the quarterback position.”

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray took to the scales at the 2019 NFL Combine for the most-hyped weigh-in at the quarterback position in a very long time. 

He measured in at 5-foot-10 1/8 and weighed 207 pounds with 9 1/2 hands. 

Saying he should have played baseball is ridiculous, he hasn’t even played a snap in the NFL yet.
