Johnny Manziel saw his first preseason action in the CFL on Friday night. The former NFL first round pick entered in the second quarter of the Hamilton Tiger-Cat’s preseason game against the Toronto Argonauts.
Manziel received a warm welcome from the Tiger-Cat’s fans, who had been chanting for him since the beginning of the game. He didn’t disappoint and went 3 for 3 on his first series.

Manziel also gave the fans some vintage Johnny Football. He rolled right and bought some time for his receiver to get open.

Manziel finished 9 of 12 for 80 yards. Not a bad start for the CFL’s biggest star. The road back to the NFL is officially underway. Mrs. Manziel was in attendance to document the event for social media.
