It all got started last week when the UFC asked if Daniel Cormier was the greatest MMA fighter of all-time.  The question caused Jon Jones to respond with a couple of tweets.

DC was asked about the comments by Jones and called him a “nobody” during an interview with CBS Sports:

“None. [Jones] doesn’t have a platform and I refuse to give him a platform,” Cormier said. “He’s a nobody. He has been suspended again. He’s mired in controversy for drug abuse. Your issues are tied to steroids, performance enhancers. You don’t get a platform when you’re like that. It’s like me glorifying Lance Armstrong.”

Jones is still waiting to hear just how long he will be suspended for his second failed drug test.  That didn’t keep him from jumping on Twitter on Monday afternoon to take more shots at DC.

The rant shows that Jones is itching to get back in the Octagon.  Hopefully he isn’t suspended for too long and he can get another shot at Cormier.
