The only thing worse than the Houston Astros sign stealing scandal is the way in which the cheaters and the MLB have handled it. The players are almost flaunting the fact that they weren’t punished and everything out of MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred’s mouth about it has been completely idiotic.
Players from around the league have been weighing in on the scandal and repeatedly taking shots at the Astros and Manfred. The latest to do so is Cubs lefthander Jon Lester, who took shots at Manfred for calling the World Series trophy a “piece of metal.”
