Oakland Raiders receiver Jordy Nelson, who is under contract next season, says he plans to return in 2019.  The 33-year-old is owed $7.2 million next season for what will be his 12th season in the NFL.

In 14 games this season Nelson has 54 catches for 661 yards and three touchdowns.  After a slow start his numbers have gone up over the last four games.

If Nelson is willing to stick around for the rebuilding process the Raiders might as well keep him around.  A veteran you can count on to catch 60 balls could serve as a valuable piece of what can be a painful process.
