According to Carlos Correa, the real reason Jose Altuve didn’t want his jersey ripped off wasn’t to hide a buzzer, it was because of an “unfinished” tattoo. On Monday Altuve made sure to show off the tattoo as some sort of proof that his teammate was telling the truth.
The former MVP walked by a group of reporters and then changed his t-shirt in front of them. By doing so he revealed a tattoo on his chest. It reads “Melanie.”

Melanie is the name of his 3-year-old daughter. And would certainly be finished in one tattoo session. So the “unfinished tattoo” explanation really doesn’t fit.
