Astros pitcher Justin Verlander returned to Detroit on Monday for the first time since being traded to Houston last season.  He was given a standing ovation by Tigers fans.

In addition to the ovation, the Tigers played a video tribute for Verlander prior to the game and got him to tear up a little bit.

The Tigers wanted to thank Verlander and possibly throw him off his game before he took the mound.  They might be out of it, but they can still have an impact on the postseason.
