Astros right-hander Justin Verlander, who will pitch Game 1 of the American League Division Series, talked about how much longer he wants to play.  The 36-year-old thinks he can continue pitching for another nine years.

That’s right, he’s taking a page out of the book of some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, who have alsk said they wanted to play until they turn 45.  If they can do it in football you would think Verlander would be able to in baseball.
