During the Trail Blazers double overtime win over the Nets on Monday night, Portland big man Jusuf Nurkic went down with a devastating lower leg injury.  After going up for a rebound he landed awkwardly on an opponent’s shoe and his lower leg snapped like a twig.

This is a tough one to watch:

The injury was so tough to look at many players got away from Nurkic as fast as they could when they realized what they had just witnessed.  Jusuf was down on the floor in severe pain for several minutes before being carted off of the court.

To make matters worse, as Nurkic was down with the injury, a referee walking by kicked his foot on the broken leg.
