The Michigan Wolverines have hired Juwan Howard as their new head basketball coach.  According to the Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, the former member of the “Fab Five” has agreed to a five-year deal to to become the Michigan head coach.

Howard has been an assistant on the Miami Heat’s coaching staff since 2013 and takes over for John Beilein, who left Michigan for the Cleveland Cavaliers head coaching job.

This hire makes a ton of sense.  Let’s hope Howard gets a Fab Five reunion together on his coaching staff and they bring the swag back to Michigan.  I’m not a fan of Michigan, but how can you not love the excitement they brought to College Basketball in the 90s?
