Who bets on this crap?
If Luke Walton is in fact ever fired, the Lakers reportedly already have a new name in mind, not including Mark Jackson, Jason Kidd and Tyronn Lue.
According to BetOnline, an online betting service and oddsmaker, none of those big names are favored to land the job.
Surprisingly, the person with the best odds to start next season as the Lakers’ head coach is current Miami Heat assistant Juwan Howard:

This very well could be a LeBron pick.
Howard is a former LeBron teammate and assistant coach from his Miami days. So I don’t necessarily knock this out of hand. I’m sure we’ll get an anonymous report about it in the next few hours now.

Whoever ends up coaching, we know the Lakers will need LeBron’s stamp of approval.
There’s no doubt he’s 100% involved in the process.
Let’s hope his new coach will be able to stand his breath.
