The Kansas City Chiefs, in preparation for their game against the Patriots in Foxboro, left some rather important things behind: 35 players’ bags containing shoulder pads, helmets and footballs.

The Chiefs reportedly did not take the bags containing the players’ gear off the plane en route to Massachusetts, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who reported the news.

The gear ended up in Newark, New Jersey, but was promptly rerouted to its intended destination.

At 2:41 p.m., less than two hours before the Chiefs-Patriots kickoff, the gear was seen arriving at Gillette Stadium.

Chiefs’ staff rushed through the halls to get the bags to the players waiting on their gear for warm ups.
