It was reported at the beginning of June that Kawhi Leonard had purchased property in Toronto.  On Sunday, he was asked about the purchase and denied it.

“No it didn’t.  It didn’t happen yet.”

Raptors fans shouldn’t freak out just yet, Kawhi did add a “yet” to the end of his statement.  Even if he ends up never purchasing any property in Toronto and leaves in free agency, he will have brought a championship to your entire country.
