The Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC champions, and star tight end Travis Kelce made sure to rub salt in the Cincinnati Bengals’ wound after his team’s dramatic win.

Kelce first took aim at the Bengals for their pre-game trash talk, specifically the comment calling Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium “Burrowhead” due to Joe Burrow’s 3-0 record against Kansas City before Sunday’s game.

“‘Burrowhead my ass!” said Kelce, interrupting Patrick Mahomes’ postgame interview. “It’s Mahomes’ house.”

Kelce then taunted Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval, who went viral Friday after posting a video in which he joked that officials were asking Burrow to take a paternity test to determine if he was Mahomes’ father.

“Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni!” yelled Kelce, referencing a famous line by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas also got into the fun.

Kelce – who will play his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, in Super Bowl LVII – put together another standout playoff performance in the 23-20 victory.

Despite entering the game with a back injury, the eight-time Pro Bowler finished with seven catches for 78 yards and one touchdown. Kelce also moved into second place on the all-time playoff receiving yards list (1,467) and tied for second with Rob Gronkowski for postseason touchdown catches (15) in NFL history.
