Kevin Durant isn’t just switching teams and conferences, the former MVP is also switching numbers.  He took to social media and revealed he’ll be wearing a new number in Brooklyn.

KD will be wearing the number 7 when he takes the floor for the Nets in a couple of years.  He wore the number 35 with the Thunder and Warriors.

The move to a new number is an unexpected one.  Not only has KD worn the number 35 his entire career, his business Thirty Five Ventures has his old number in the name.

If you’re going to turn the page to a new chapter in your career, you might as well switch numbers as well.
