The Warriors announced on Thursday afternoon that an MRI confirmed that star Kevin Durant suffered a strained right calf in Game 5.  He will not travel with the team to Houston for Game 6 and will be re-evaluated next week.

In other words, Durant will miss the rest of the Warriors and Rockets series.

When Durant left Wednesday night’s game with the injury and went straight to the locker room the only question was how long was he going to be out.

This sounds like and injury that could carry over to the Western Conference finals if Golden State advances.
