Kevin Durant already won his second consecutive NBA championship and Finals MVP award. And he also walked away from the season with another award as well.
Durant won the NBA Cares Community Assist award at the 2018 NBA Awards earlier this week in Los Angeles for his various charitable contributions in the Bay Area, his former college and his native Prince George’s County in Maryland.
With the award, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula will receive $25,000 from both Kaiser Permanente and the NBA. KD posted about the award, and thanked his team in the post.
That ‘Team’ was also recently spotted taking care of his girlfriend, as you can see below, Cassandra Anderson hanging with his PR team.
