Kevin Pillar Climbed the Wall in Center to Rob a Home Run

Giants centerfielder Kevin Pillar climbed the wall in center to rob Reds rookie Nick Senzel of his first career home run.  He robbed the rookie of his first career hit a day earlier.

This catch by Pillar is without a doubt one of the best robberies you’re going to see.  To get back, climb the wall and then find the ball to make the catch takes a ton of skill.

Senzel would get the last laugh.  When he came up a couple of innings after the robbery he hit a ball that Pillar couldn’t get to.

One way or another Senzel was going to finish Saturday night’s game with a home run.
