Kliff Kingsbury is finally getting the chance to coach Kyler Murray and he couldn’t be more excited about seeing what he’ll be able to do with the former Oklahoma star.

The Arizona Cardinals new head coach joined “The Jim Rome Show” on Wednesday and discussed recruiting the undersized quarterback when he was a sophomore in high school.

After missing out on him at the collegiate level, Kingsbury just couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to draft the Heisman Trophy winner and did so despite the fact that the Cardinals drafted a quarterback in the first round last year.

There will be a lot of eyes on Arizona this year to see if Kingsbury’s offense translates to the NFL and to see if Kyler Murray will be able to execute it at a high level.
