Kingsbury was named USC’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach just four weeks ago, just one week after being fired as head coach of Texas Tech. The 39-year old Kingsbury was 35-40 in six seasons with the Red Raiders.
Kingsbury is 39 years old, and with the recent success of Sean McVay and Matt Nagy, the NFL is heading towards a new direction of younger coaches.
It is a copycat league.
