Just hours before Kobe Bryant tragically lost his life in a helicopter accident, LeBron James passed the Lakers great on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. The two shared a phone call late on Saturday night after LeBron’s historical night.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the phone call was listened to by several of LeBron’s Lakers teammates. It would be the last time any of them would hear Kobe’s voice in realtime.
