Cam Newton was placed on injured reserve by the Panthers on Tuesday, ending his season. He responded to the news with what sounded like a goodbye.
Kyle Allen, who has taken over the starting job, also responded to the news that Newton had been placed on IR with an Instagram post.
In the post he praised the injured QB for being a great teammate and leader.
