The Nets took on the Celtics in Boston on Wednesday night without star guard Kyrie Irving. He’s currently out of the lineup with a shoulder injury and not making road trips.
Many think Irving is using his shoulder injury as an excuse to miss Brooklyn’s current road trip. A road trip that has stops in Boston and Cleveland.
Prior to the Nets loss to the Celtics, signs were put up around TD Garden that called Irving a coward for missing his return. Fans didn’t let his absence go unnoticed.
Celtics fans broke out loud “Kyrie sucks” and “Where is Kyrie” chants throughout the game.
So where was Kyrie? On Instagram crying about how mean Celtics fans are.
