Boston Celtics star guard Kyrie Irving dished out his thoughts on the Celtics’ disappointing losses after a 1-4 road trip, culminating when they lost to the Trailblazers last night, 100-94.
Kyrie told reporters after the game:
We all know Rome wasn’t built in a day. The Celtics will eventually be great, it’s just going to take some more time. Apparently Kyrie thinks they need a vet.
Kyrie Irving: "I think it would be nice if we had someone that was a 15-year vet, a 14-year vet that could kind of help us race along the regular season and understand it's a long marathon rather than just a full-on sprint.”
