At a preseason fan event last October, Boston Celtics All-Star Kyrie Irving said:
“if you guys will have me back, I plan on re-signing here.”
Four months later, he’s not feeling the same.
When asked if his mindset has changed since that declaration, Irving responded “ask me July 1,” according to ESPN’s Ian Begley.
