The first season of the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant era in Brooklyn was expected to be better than it currently is, even with KD missing the entire season as he recovers from a torn Achilles.

Irving was still supposed to lead the Nets to the playoffs.  It hasn’t gone as planned, he missed two months with a shoulder injury and the Nets record is 18-22.

Following Wednesday night’s loss to the 76ers, Irving decided to trash the Nets roster.  He calls their needs to get to the next level “glaring.”
