The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday night, that they are shutting down LeBron James for the final six games of the season.
The team came to the decision after consulting with the their medical staff, who thought it would be a good idea to allow his injured groin to “fully heal.”
“After consulting with our team doctors and medical staff, we have decided to hold LeBron out of games for the remainder of the season.
“This decision will allow his groin to fully heal, and is best for the future success of both LeBron and the Lakers.”
It also allows LeBron to enjoy a little wine on the bench and continue to evaluate his roster. You better believe the Lakers are going to be busy this off-season.
The Western Conference is a different animal and LeBron can’t drag a team full of scrubs into the playoffs by himself.
