Carmelo Anthony played in just 10 games for the Rockets last season. After a series of odd trades, Melo was finally released and didn’t sign or play for another team the rest of the season.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the 34-year-old’s career is over just yet. While in New York City TMZ Sports caught up with Melo’s wife, Lala Anthony.
Lala was asked about Melo’s future and according to her, expect to see him back in the NBA next season. What team will he end up with? Whatever team will appreciate him.

Lala was out in NYC when we asked about her hubby’s NBA status — considering he hasn’t been on the court since 2018 and some people think he’s done for good.
Unless she has some inside information that the rest of us don’t, which is possible she is married to him, Melo didn’t seem to get much attention from NBA teams following his release.
