The Nuggets tied their first round series with the Spurs on Wednesday night with a 114-105 win. There’s one play during the game that is getting some attention and causing Denver to reach out to the NBA.
In the 4th quarter Denver guard Gary Harris set a screen on San Antonio big man LaMarcus Aldridge. As Aldridge fought through the screen, he is seen throwing a punch at Harris’ groin.
Harris goes down and stays down as the Nuggets finish their offensive possession. He then struggles to get back down the court on defense.

It sure looks like Aldridge hit Harris in the nuts on purpose. The NBA will certainly be taking a closer look at this play.
