Video of Rams defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh poking Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald in the eye surfaced on Christmas Day. In the video Suh is seen reaching into Fitzgerald’s facemask and appearing to try to take his eye out.
Did Ndamukong Suh seriously try to poke Larry Fitzgerald's eye on Sunday? That's messed up.

On Wednesday, Fitzgerald addressed the video and defended his close friend by calling the video “just a friend clowning with another friend.”
Wanted to address the video circulating from Sunday: I’ve known @NdamukongSuh since his college days and he’s a close friend of mine. Quality as a person matches his quality as a player.
That video is just a friend clowning with another friend. No negative intent! It's all love

This is an unexpected turn of events given Suh’s lengthy history of dirty plays. An eye poke is a strange way to clown with a friend.
Is this truly just a friend clowning with another friend or did Suh reach out and threaten Fitzgerald to release a statement so he doesn’t get suspended? Something doesn’t add up.
