According to a lawsuit filed by former ESPN legal analyst Adrienne Lawrence, Chris Berman left a racist voicemail for Jemele Hill back in 2016.  To make matters worse, ESPN did nothing about it.

Via TMZ Sports:

“In early 2016, ESPN’s ‘The Undefeated’ personality Jemele Hill received a threatening and racially disparaging voicemail from Berman on her ESPN phone line.”

Lawrence claims Hill notified ESPN executive Marcia Keegan — who oversaw Hill’s show, “His & Hers” — but ultimately “nothing was done.”

We’ll have to wait and see how the lawsuit shakes out, but this looks like another black eye for ESPN.  They appear to be the worldwide leader in terrible places to work.
