LeBron James declined to answer whether or not he attended Kobe Bryant’s memorial service on Monday.
The 35-year-old Los Angeles Lakers point forward was asked by ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin this week if he was in the star-studded crowd at Staples Center for the Kobe and Gianna Bryant: Celebration of Life the previous day.
LeBron, who currently plays for the team Kobe played for all 20 seasons of his career, did not answer the question specifically but he did talk about how he was affected by it as he said: ‘I respect your question for sure, but it’s very emotional.
He was definitely spotted in the crowd.
