The Liberty Flames are headed to the NCAA Tournament after beating Lipscomb 74-68.  They also took home the flop of the year award.

Liberty’s Scottie James ended up on the floor after hitting a shot and was looking for a foul on the play.  When he didn’t get one, he stood up next to Lipscomb’s Rob Marberry and then pulled off the flop of the year.

The flop fooled the announcers and earned a video review.

Thankfully the referees reviewed the call and didn’t fall for the flop.  They decided there was no foul on play.

The only thing that would have made the no call better would have been if they called a foul on James for flopping.
