Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri was ejected from Thursday night’s game after a dirty hit on Tommy Wingels of the Boston Bruins. The hit was so dirty an ejection might not be enough.
As you can see, not only did Kadri hit Wingels while he was down, he hip checked his head into the boards. A completely unnecessary hit.

The dirty hit could earn Kadri a suspension. The NHL’s player safety announced that there has already scheduled a hearing for Friday.
