Mariners pitcher Mike Leake was perfect through 8 innings on Friday night.  No walks, no hits, not a single base runner, until the lead-off hitter in the 9th inning.

Angels shortstop Luis Rengifo ended the perfect game with a single lead-off the ninth.  Leake would then walk the next batter before recording the final three outs for a complete game, one-hit shutout.

Leake needed just 98 pitches to dominate an Angels lineup that knocked him out of a game last week in the first inning.  He ended the game by striking out Mike Trout with two runners on.
