Robinson Cano is heading back to New York.  The Mariners have traded the former Yankee to the Mets with closer Edwin Diaz and $20 million.

The Mets sent Jay Bruce and Anthony Swarzak to Seattle, along with three pitching prospects Gerson Bautista, Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn.

Cano is coming off of a season where he played in just 80 games after being suspended 80 games for PEDs.  He still can hit and should provide the Mets with some solid left-handed power.

Cano has also learned how to lose with the Mariners and will fit in just fine in his new locker room.
