Mario Lemieux Statue Vandalized in Pittsburgh After Protests Get Out of Hand

Protests all across the country took place on Saturday night.  The protests are designed to honor the latest victim of police brutality, George Floyd.

Many of the peaceful protests turned into a wild scene of rioting and looting after being hijacked by outside groups.  One of the protests that got out of hand took place in Pittsburgh.

In addition to rioting and looting there has been plenty of graffiti vandalism too.  The Mario Lemieux statue outside of PPG Paints Arena was one of several items vandalized.
