Former Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who was traded to the Reds earlier in ther year, is making his return to New York on Monday. The Mets asked him to speak with the media either at either 3:45 or 4:15 so it wouldn’t interfere with Mickey Callaway’s press conference scheduled for 4.
Harvey declined and will be speaking to the media at 4. Would you expect any other move from the former Met?

The Mets had to expect that Harvey wasn’t going to accommodate their request. They must have asked as a way to show him in a bad light.
Everyone already knows he’s a jerk and the only thing it does is make them look like the garbage franchise they are.
