Mets pitcher Matt Harvey was pulled from the starting rotation after going winless with a 5.76 ERA. The 29 year old hasn’t been much better out of the bullpen.
A recent shaky appearance in San Diego came after a night of partying according to Page Six.
Harvey attended the Thursday opening of hot Avra Beverly Hills, where guests included Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo and Selma Blair.
But a spy told us that Harvey was “out at the Avra opening stumbling around . . . He had to sit down at one point. He must have been so desperate to party, he came up from San Diego.”
Another guest said that among so many stars, “Nobody knew who Matt was,” but, “he was sober.”
Even if he was sober, driving from San Diego to Los Angeles and staying out late the night before a game isn’t a great look these days. Especially if you follow that up with a less than perfect outing.
