Max Kellerman has a plan for the Giants to move on from Eli Manning, who he says has fallen off a cliff, and it involves Colin Kaepernick. He wants New York to sign Kaepernick, get him ready to start and bench Manning.
Kellerman then wants Kaepernick to be used as a bridge from Manning to the eventual replacement, who will be drafted in the 2019 draft.
It’s a plan, but it will never happen. The benching of Eli, which is already past due, may never happen.
Any scenario involving Kaepernick isn’t going to happen. If he was going to be signed by a team, it would have already happened.
