President Trump took to Twitter and criticized Don Lemon and LeBron James’ intelligence after an interview the NBA star did with the CNN host.
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!
Following the tweet there were plenty of people coming to LeBron’s defense, including the First Lady. That’s right, Melania Trump released a statement through her spokeswoman and is open to visiting the school LeBron just opened, via CNBC:
In a statement released by her spokeswoman, the first lady believed the 3-time NBA champion “is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today.”
The statement from Melania Trump also promoted campaign against child cyber bullying, and said the first lady was “open” to the prospect of visiting James’ school for low-income youth, which he announced this week.
It could go no other way could it? LeBron has to extend an invite to Melania and dunk all over the President. It would be an amazing moment of sports and politics.
