Miami Fans Threw Things Onto the Field After Safety Amari Carter Was Ejected for Targeting

The Miami Hurricanes beat the 20th ranked Virginia Cavaliers at home on Friday night 17-9.  The game, as is often times the case in Miami, wasn’t without a little extracurricular activity.

In the third quarter of the game fans threw things onto the field after safety Amari Carter was ejected from the game for a big helmet-to-helmet hit that forced a drop in the end zone.

It was Carter’s second ejection of the season for targeting and he received a second penalty for refusing to go to the locker room following his ejection.
