The New England Patriots and defensive end Michael Bennett have agreed to a restructured deal.  The 33-year-old had two years and $15.7 million left on his deal.

The new deal is for two years and $16.75 million and pays out a $4 million signing bonus.  It also saves the Patriots $700k in cap space for 2019.

The deal is good for both sides, especially if the Patriots are able to get some decent production from the veteran.  Bennett has proven he can be a valuable member of a winning team and seems to win wherever he goes.
