Veteran defensive end Michael Bennett was traded to the New England Patriots a few days ago. The 33-year-old hasn’t always been a fan of his new team, but has warmed up to them.
Bennett used “Star Wars” references to announce that he’s ready to learn from Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. He’s also excited about the opportunity to win.

Star Wars references are nothing new when it comes to the New England Patriots. Using the good guys to describe them is.
Bennett probably didn’t want to come in too hot with his first tweet about his new team. Give him some time, we’re confident he will eventually be taking shots at the Patriot way.
